On September 30, 2025, the Institut en Innovation Logistique (I²L), Metz’s brand new engineering school dedicated to intelligent logistics, sustainability and complex systems engineering, will have the immense honor of being inaugurated by Bernard CHARLÈS, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dassault Systèmes, a CAC 40 company and world leader in virtual universes.
Why is this an historic event?
👉 Bernard CHARLÈS, an emblematic figure in the global digital industry, is the visionary behind 3DEXPERIENCE® and digital mock-ups, which have revolutionized industrial processes. He has made Dassault Systèmes, with sales of over €6 billion by 2023, one of the world’s top 10 software publishers.
📚 Agrégé and Doctor in Mechanics, alumnus of ENS Cachan, he is also Commandeur de la Légion d’honneur, member of the National Academy of Engineering (USA) and the Académie des Technologies (France). His influence extends beyond France’s borders, in the fields of aeronautics, healthcare, energy and sustainable cities.
