European RemaNet Project: Promoting Remanufacturing and Reverse Logistics with a Digital Platform for an Extended Value Chain
The European REMANET project, with a budget of 7 million euros, is a major initiative to develop reverse logistics for remanufacturing, recycling and optimizing the use of materials. This project brings together experts from the Institut en Innovation Logistique (I²L) and LGIPM at the University of Lorraine, with the aim of creating a broader, sustainable value chain in the industrial sector.
The I²L plays a central role in the application of innovative remanufacturing solutions, thanks to its expertise in reverse logistics and intelligent flow management. The I²L’s contribution is reflected in the implementation of a digital platform integrated directly into factories, enabling business models to be rethought for a more efficient circular economy.
Thanks to this project, the I²L is actively contributing to the creation of a collaborative community, where manufacturers, researchers and experts can share their knowledge and best practices at every stage of the remanufacturing process.
